Purchased 1953 M37 last month. New batteries and it started right up...got it registered today and put new gas in it...it had been sitting for two years. Now fuel leaking (a lot) when running...leak appears to be right where fuel pump attaches to engine or close by...any advice is appreciated...doug

RE: Fuel Pump Model Number?

Maybe you need to visit "that other forum," www.g741.org, and post your questions there. It's dedicated to the M37 and all its variants, and the folks are extremely knowledgeable about the beast.

RE: Fuel Pump Model Number?

You may want to check the crankcase oil for fuel also, a leaking fuel pump could easily dump fuel into the oil.
It happened to my son's '53 M37 and his solution was an in-line electric pump....
