I noticed a very small amount of diesel around the number two injector yesterday.

Just a few drops of diesel that has kind of shined the outside of the injector.

Is there a fix or just replace the entire injector?

That depends where it's coming from. Probably fixable. If there's a diesel pump shop near you they have see these injectors before, just not the tips. (And they've "probably" seen those before too once or twice). They can fix you right up.

OK, I went to law school, not mechanical school. Watching the leak, checking the TM's and contemplating the problem, I realized I had not tightened the fuel lines. I did. It takes a 7/16 inch open end wrench.

Problem solved.

The first thing I learned about the deuce from cranetruck, and keep learning, is to think about the problem before you jump to trying to fix it. Lesson relearned.

If you have a problem, think about it, get a 7/16 inch open end wrench and relax. :)

I used to work on Ford Model A cars. Working on the deuce is only slightly more complex.

I also work for a lot of people who do not like lawyers until they need one.

Just different ways of achieving and end.
