leaky lines!!

my oil cooling lines are beggining to leak at the rubber to metal connection. I have heard that this is a common issue, has anyone found a good solution to this problem!!!

Yep they can take the heat. The hydro fluid gets mighty hot pushing those dozers and excavators around.

There are NOS sets around too. I bought a residue M1009 that had a fresh set on it and I swapped mine out. My originals were plain rubber hoses, but these "new" ones have a woven fiber covering over the rubber. Pretty tough stuff.

I have thought about dragging home an cucv carcas to have at for spares but I think the day that happens will be the last thing I ever do, women just don't understand!! :shakehead: . I'll look around for the braided lines, the hydraulic lines sound cool but I don't know of any shops in my area I'll have to look into that as well
