Lights flicker and cut off and the light switch makes a clicking noise.

Hey guys and gals I'm new here. I dont know if this question has been asked but I did search for a thread on this. I didn't find anything.

I have a 1968 m35a2. Recently I was driving to work and the lights were working fine. All of a sudden the lights start flickering and then the headlights went out. Now all I have is a brake light. Every time I cut the lights on the instrument cluster lights cut on and off and the light switch make a clicking noise. I have replaced the switch and it's still happening. Any help that could be given I would appreciate. Slainte!!!

The light switch contains a self resetting circuit breaker. That is the clicking. You have a short somewhere. Start at the headlights...a wire chafed through and shorting to sheet metal...
