Lights in bumpers...broken wires...

When I took my bumpers off of my M1009 I also removed the lights in the bumpers. The wires were so rotted some of them came apart right at the spot the wire enters the housing.

Can these things be taken apart and fixed or do I have to find a replacement?

If the lights are functional you can use a dremel tool to grind around the wires and resolder them. A lighted magnifying glass helps. It can be done but it is tricky. Its already broke so why not try it?
