Never seen the heater mounted that way. Looks like it will allow more air into the system.

Wold that orientation also allow easier draining/flushing
Inquiring minds want to know 
thats the way the heater was mounted from the military. Would like $9000 for it
but i know thats not going to happen. NO RESERVE auction so hopefully it will sell I'm open to offers to end the auction. $2800 would be a fair price I think.
