LMC 190 T-stat ok?

I just put an LMC 190 degree thermostat in, and am still getting cool air and heater hoses. Are the LMC thermostats the right one?

Here's a pic of the correct (hockey puck) thermostat. Others will fit, but usually won't perform properly.

Not trying to be a wise guy is it in the right way, Iam running a 180, plenty of heat. Scott O&O

Checked, checked, and double checked. Then tried it the other way.

Did you put in hot water to make sure it opens?

If the thermostat doesn't open it will get real hot. Check the heater core for flow. take off both hoses and use a gargen hose to flush the core, gently.
