There is no DUKW forum on SS that I know of, so here I am. Looking for a set of drawings for the DUKW that shows the struts, skin plates, and all of the structure. A CAD file would be best, but I doubt any have been made. Restoring one and some of the lower structure needs replacing or is flat gone. Anyone know where I can find that?

Unless a guy has a sample of the pieces you're replacing it'd be difficult to get a match without a scale drawing so you've got a tough challenge.

Doing a search in 'Images' for the term "DUKW specs", nets a few pics but scale drawings are evading me. Here is a link to some visuals that might help.

The plastic model industry has done some amazing detail work to represent vehicle designs accurately so that might be a place to look. They scale them down off the original prints so, it's worth a shot.

Here are a few more informative DUKW sites......just not exactly what you're looking for.

Getting some pictures and specific details up on the individual pieces you need will help to see if we can just provide pics and measurements. There's a DUK pond close by and it's authentic so I'd need a days notice and a tape measure.

Thanks very much! Interesting stuff. Still looking for prints. Will contact MVPA.Their site only shows the A-frame, but they may have more offline.
