looking for lusterless yellow, 33538

I am looking for an easy source for an equivalent paint. I would prefer something in the Rustoleum Professional line of spray paint. Looking at the Rustoleum website, they have two colors that may be close. A Sunburst Yellow and a Tuscan sun. Has anyone out there ever used one of these colors?

By chance I used Sunburst Yellow yesterday to repaint the bridge plate for a friend's M37. It's what he already had on his shelf, and he wanted to use it, so....

My opinion for what it is worth is that it is a tad light in tone, but looks pretty good.

Since you have the Federal Supply Service code for the correct paint color 33538, first 3 is for flat finish, second 3 is for yellow, and 538 is the shade, you should be able to go to most any paint retailer that has a computer with 'competitive paints' in their system. On the computer, have them find FSS (Federal Supply Service), then put in the 33538 in the numeric code, them mix the paint with your base of choice. When I explained it to the fellow at Home Depot a decade or more ago, he was surprised, but very appreciative. I also had shown him how to look up School Bus Yellow and they were then able to bid on paint contracts with state and local governments. YMMV.

Tuscan Yellow is a bit darker that the Sunburst. Is the yellow bright? If so, federal Safety Yellow then a matte clear over it.
