Looking for MEP003 Repair in Northern VA

Hi all,

I bought a MEP 003 from GL last year, and got a possible hanger betty.

I planned to restore, but life has a way of getting in the way of such plans.

I just bought a new house and am spending all my time restoring it so we can live in it (currently, 1 bathroom for 6 people) so I have no time for the genny, but I need one since we are very rural.

I am looking for someone who specializes in this equipment to bring it back to life for me (for $ or whatever else).

I'm in Purcellville, VA. I can deliver it (it's on wheels, and loaded in my 1 1/2 ton trailer.

Not looking for super quick, just capable.

It had no injection pump on delivery, but I obtained one from a SS user. It has the original shims. It has no batteries, but a I have a full set of new filters for it, courtesy of another SS user. I removed and cleaned hoses and some other components, but that was as far as I got.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

are you looking to just get it running and producing power, or do you want it fully restored? I'm not really close to you, but I love a challenge

I have working MEP-002a's but have not advertised them. Depending on condition of your unit, might be possible to do what you suggest. I'm about 3 hours from you in Mathews County, about 70 miles east of Richmond.
