While I have thought of buying a M1010 for a camping/ exploring vehicle. But I've been talking with some who is selling a USAF Ambulance based on the GMT400 platform. I'm not sure if it would be considered a CUCVII or not as it is a 1990. Best I can tell is they come with 6.2, TH400, possibly 4.10 gears but unknown if it has a gov-loc or Detroit locker. One advantage is it does have A/C. Can anyone shed some light on how they came equipped?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
John

Thanks for the info porkysplace! What I find confusing is that from pictures I was sent it does not have a overdrive transmission only D21. It also has a transfer case shifter on the floor. It's not full time 4wd.

Your probably going have to look it over in person to figure it out.The floor shift is most likely just to lock from hi and lo
similar to the hmmwv's transfer case
