I am trying to figure out how to rewire the harness that will go from a non-MIL radio (CB or Scanner) to a LS-671/VRC Speaker. I have standard CB civvy speakers; but I wanted to use the 671. I have looked over the schematics and it looks like the MIL Cable I have can be utilized by cutting off the connector that would go to the MIL radio, strip the appropriate wires and run one to 12 volt(+), 12 volt (-), and two to a mono phono plug that I can plug into the CB.

I was thinking that I would end up with a modified cable that plugs into the 671
