OK, so my axle hub is slightly leaking after I got the truck from the brake shop. In the past, I have used RTV, but this time I'd like to use a gasket because it seems to be faster to install. My question is: the gasket is metal, so do I just slap that puppy on the axle/hub like that, or do I have to add RTV? Thanks.

I never use rtv, the metal has always been good to me. Many that i've taken apart have had rtv and when using those parts I dont re-apply, still never had a problem unless the axle was loose.:)
