M1008 batteries

I had a battery go bad in my 86 m1008 so i bought a new one. My question is the other battery is a 31-1000 with 1000 cca and the new battery is a 27-2 with 810 cca. If i use the 2 together with it damage anything?

No they are both 12 volt so no they will be fine as long as they are both fully charged.
