M1008 Rear Spring Hangers Bent

The rear axle rear spring hangers (where the shackle is) are bent! I have pulled the bed to paint the frame and did not notice this until the bed was off. It's bad enough that it has made the spring bushings wear at a very noticeable angle. I haven't figured out how to post photos but hope to soon.

Are these the same as a 1/2 or 3/4 Ton? Any ideas where I can find these? I'm assuming I'll have to drill out the rivets and go back with bolts?

Thanks
Keith

I've never had to replace them because they were bent, but I have because of rust. You are correct on the process. I would use some good Grade 8 bolts. If you cannot find the hangers closer to you. I could round up a good used set.

I can't say for sure. I am too far away from home to go out and look. I know the spring center to center is different from the 1 ton to the lighter trucks. I am not sure if the frame itself is narrower or if the spring hangers are somehow different. Hopefully someone will chime in.
