M1009 front pinion seal part numbers

I'm having a very hard time finding a part number for a front pinion seal for a 1985 M1009. I have tried the TM and couldn't find a number for the part. Could someone please help me? My local part stores have been of no help and im getting pretty aggravated calling everywhere. Thanks.

Call the parts store and tell them you need a pinion seal for an 85 K5 Blazer.

You may have to look at more than one parts manual

Since the breakdown of the axle is a major job (for a GI), you need to look in the TM 9-2320-289-34p manual

In less than a minute I found the axle diagram in Figure 100 and part #4

As stated above the truck is just an 1984 Chevy K5 Blazer. Any parts house should be able to look it up or cross reference the GM part number. Don't tell them it is a military truck. They will have a deer in the headlights stare.

I'd suggest downloading all of the TM's pertaining to the CUCVs.
