M1009 GEN 1 light on

I own a CUCV 1986 and with the key off and removed from truck the GEN 1 and low oils light stays on I'm posting to see if anyone has had this problem or if someone can point me in the right direction.

Rebuild the alternator. The rectifier is bad.
