Does the M1009 have a check vale in the tank?, how does it keep fuel between the pump and the tank?

If there is nowhere for air to get in, then fuel wouldn't return just from gravity. If there was a place for air to get in, this "place" would be called a fuel leak.

That makes sense, I am replacing my mechanical pump with a electric, wanted to make sure there was no check valves to cause a problem.
