Hi Guys,

Is there anyone in the Atlanta, Ga area.
With a capable truck, willing to do me a favor and tow my M1009,
from where I live, to a diesl truck shop to get some warranty work done?
Then drop me off back at my place.. ??

I only have about one month left on the warranty...

The total distance is only about 12-14 miles.. If that..

I would greatly appreciate it..

Please let me know, Thank you,

CJ

What kind of warranty work do you need to get done?

Hello Doghead,

They replaced the starter last month (November) and it blew yesterday afternoon.
So I called them to let them know, and they said the warranty would cover the repair.
As long as the failure was caused by the starter itself or any related work they did last month.

Thanks,

CJ

Do you have AAA? If not, it's not a bad idea to get it.

What kind of warranty work do you need to get done?

Hello 319,

Thanks for the tip, I plan on getting triple A, but cannot afford it yet.
The starter was replaced last month, and it is under a 3 month warranty,
and it blew Wednesday.

Good day,

CJ

if the starter is blown then the tow should also be covered under their warranty. If the part had not failed then you would be able to drive it to the shop.

Hello Simp,

The shop told me, if it turns out to indeed be a warranty repair, they would reimburse me,
for the towing fees..
Problem is, until yesterday or so, I did not have a way to pay for the towing fees.

Now I just have to call the towing company and arrange pickup.
A friend is going to help me with the towing fees. Thank God.

Good day,

CJ
