Back in the early to mid 90's I had access to a few M1010's that a friend was buying and we were stripping them out and making plow trucks out of. I have 4 of these bodies on my property that I use for storage and have anything from lawn mowers, paint, tires, wheels, parts to motorcycles in. They are handy containers for what I use them for. I have 2 uncut bodies and 2 with the skirts cut off so they can sit flat on the ground. All of these M1010's were very low miles some with less then 2 K on them but they were stripped of many parts and Code H was painted on them. They were all USMC M1010's. Just wanted to show you they are not being wasted. If someone else would have them they would be in the scrap for the aluminum value. DSCF2908.jpgDSCF2909.jpgAll of these trucks had serious electrical issues. The log books were full of complaints and issues all from no start to smoking wiring. I sort of wish I would have saved some of the parts I removed from the trucks to make them standard CUCV dual alternator systems.

Very handy
With the cost of new storage sheds today, anyone would be a fool to scrap them.
