M101A1 vs M101A2

Folks, I have the aforementioned M101A1. In a game of chance I now have the -A2 axle. Is swapping to the surge coupler just a matter of unbolting the cast piece holding the lunette and bolting on the replacement piece? Headed to Ebay (Austin Weber) to see what he has listed.

I almost bought a surge coupler for mine while at the scrap yard a few weeks back. They had a few laying around. Then I thought about having to swap the axle and adding brake lines etc and decided to scrap the idea. I think its just a bolt on replacement.
