M101a2 springs from NC to MI

ODdave is buying a set of M101a2 trailer springs from me. Problem is, they are heavy, and I do mean HEAVY! And I'm afraid that Brown or White Santa would want an arm, a leg, and a first born to get them up there. Not only that, they would need to be in some mighty stout packaging to make it there intact (I'm thinking wooden crate?). I'm hoping to make it back up there spend Christmas with my siblings, but in case I can't make it, or if anyone is heading up that way from here any time sooner, we'd both appreciate it if you could help. The springs can easily be tossed in the back of any pickup or SUV, or could even fit in the trunk of a larger sedan.
