Need a M101A3 3/4 ton trailer hauled from Camp Shelby, MS 39407 to San Antonio, TX 78234. Will be available for pick up on or after 21 January 2010. I could provide pintle hitch for class III receiver and 12-volt magnetic light set up to tow behind a commercial light truck. I'll be listing this on uship once EUC is clear (last EUC only took three weeks to clear). I am absolutely interested in paying a reasonable fee for this service. Please send an email to joe@czarnik.net if you can move this trailer for me. Thanks much, Joe

I hate to tell you this, but the cargo box on that trailer doesn't look like an A3 version. The tires stick put too far from the fenders.

Also, in the picture posted, the wheels don't appear to have the lugs to bolt the wheels together like the Humvee wheels do.

I wish I could lend a hand with transport, but I'm a little far away.

Do you have any other pictures you can post??

I'm confident that this is actually an A2 version, but I've already verified that at some point in this trailer's life it received an A3 (type) axle. And, yes, the wheels are standard wheels. Thanks, Joe

Can't help with the transport but would like to meet you once in S.A. New duty station? We've got a great MVPA club here and will probably be starting a restoration project on the Camp Bullis (Nat'l Guard) Jeep (actually a MUTT but jeep is what they call it). Always looking for new members that know a thing or 2 about MVs.

If you can get it to Houston I can probably get it to San Antonio the next time I go. I was down in that area just last Saturday meeting up with mkcoen for his (now my) AC system.

I've got a friend who's stationed at Camp Shelby.

Only problem is, he's not going to be down here until March. I could ask him to pick it up for you and bring it down when he comes tho, if you don't mind waiting that long to finally get it.

Niferous - thanks for offer, but that's not going to work.

TexAndy - thanks for the offer and I'll actually keep your offer in mind, just in case I can't get this squared away in the next two weeks.

Tim,

Thanks much for the offer, but I'm not going to put that many people through that much pain. One person has offered to bring it to me for $300 and I think I'll just pay that and get it done with.

Thanks again,

Joe
