Well yours truly was hoping to add another shelter carrier to the motor pool but got spanked hard at auction. Gavel fell at $4285 ouch. 1985 M1028 that got the dually upgrade, then surplussed then spent 20+ years being thrashed at the LSU ag station at Alexandria LA. Oh well marriage preserved another day.

All things considered, that wasn't an unreasonable price. Apparently square-body Chevys have become a very hot item in the collector world.

My bedless crewcab outside my buddy's shop draws regular motivated buyers, even though it is not for sale. Many just don't want to take no for an answer!

I've done a little work to it since that photo was taken, but its still pretty ugly looking.
