M1031 Loose steering box

I just took the M1031 to a through a State safety inspection and got nailed for a loose steering box. I returned home got a 5/8 socket and retightened the 3 bolt. 2 bolts gave almost a 1/2 turn while the other took a 1/4 turn. Next time you are underneath the CUCV check your steering box for tightness. If you want to know if it is loose go underneath and have someone turn the steering back and forth, if the box moves it's loose.
