Here is the start of a single axle trailer to use with my pickup with a light load or the deuce 4x4 with a heavier load. Pictures show the axle with bolster wheels.
I found 2.5 x 5 rectangle tube, maybe 11 ga, for the main rails. The frame will be 40" wide, which is 6" wider than the M105, so the axle gets made 6" wider. That makes outside wheel to wheel about even with the bed at 8'1".
