I have read on here that the M1061A1 is 12' or 14' long, can someone confirm the bed lenght? Thanks

I own two of them and one is 12' and the other is 14'

A lot depends on what company made the trailer.

They are very heavy. Much heavier than any civy commercial trailer.

Clear as mud.

Thanks and yes they are really heavy! A friend just got a 35 ton crane and wants a trailer to use with it for general use. This should work well for anything around 10k, probably good for 15k for short low speed use.

Should be 14ft. Here's a list of the flatbed trailers and size.

XM979 -12ft bed
XM1061 -12ft bed
M1061A1 -14ft bed
XM1061E1 -14ft bed (same NSN as M1061A1)
M1073 -14ft bed, 7.5ton capacity
TR-100 -14ft bed, dropped deck
