M1078 CTIS AIR DOWN ISSUE CONTINUED

As I posted in December, both of my front tires were airing down to totally flat when parked for several days. My M1078 is a 1995 with kneeling (air transport) valves The rear tires stay inflated. I didn't find any air hose leaks and replaced both front wheel valve assemblies on both front wheels. From my
soap test I noticed that both kneeling valves are leaking down from at the slotted screws.
Is it possible to replace the kneeling valves and if so who has them for sale? Alternatively, how do I repair the existing valves so they don't leak, or eliminate them from the CTIS system?

Search is your friend; and while this has been discussed numerous times; and realistically new questions, on same topic should go in those threads ..... will do a quick synopsis for you cause honestly search in here sucks. Advanced search by other means might be necessary.

1. its a common issue with the kneeling valves
2. hack- disassemble.... stack coins in them and epoxy closed... have not done it myself.... not sure exact how others did it... hopefully someone chimes in. If I recall right they left room to thread the cap back on. Or search... and find out today
3. rear wheel "right angle" from ctis can replace front kneeling ones. Maybe a person stripping a truck or trailer will sell you rear ones.
4. New right angle part number (NOT Kneeling; aka same rear wheel) is listed in the parts spread sheet that is Pinned/stickied to the top of this FMTV forum of this Steel Soldier Discussion Board
5. Recent discussion shows that while the part number shows up on various heavy truck parts sites..... they all seem to be out of stock.. sooooooo... you may be stuck with stacking dimes.

in thread where that came from another said they fixed theirs by just replacing O-ring. YMMV apparently
