M1078 won't shift past second gear

Can anyone tell me what part this is ? and maybe a part no. ? it took a hit in a brush fire and will not stay plunged in ,

Transfer case plug, I don’t know the part no. it is a 10-6 shell size bayonet plug.

the wire end seems fine , the sensor end metal that the plug locks into is broke , you know what sensor is called ?

It is just a Feed-thru bulkhead connector, the ends of its leads attach to the output speed sensor inside the transfer case. That will keep the trans in 2nd and your speedometer probably doesnt work either...

first hit googling the part number, hope you can find one cheaper than this, perhaps one of the truck breakers?
