M108 hoist cable check

I need to verify if the following is reasonable
for using on my M108 hoist.

It looks to be 6x19 IWRC galvanized filler wire, with regular lay, 6 external bundles with 10 large strands and 9 filler strands.It came from GL and was sold as 1/2" cable. It is NOS cable but the tag
is gone. I can get it for $300. and it is local, so no shipping. 350 feet left on spool.

I know it has to be better than the old very rusty cable that is on there now
but I wanted to see if anyone raised a red flag about this.

The only problem is the GALVANLIZED filler wire, galvanlizing WEAKENS what ever is galvavized, hoist cable NEVER has ANY galvanlized wire, in fact NOTHING connected to hoisting a load is galvavlized.
