Steering box is the same. Most trucks with a front winch are a tad harder to steer than those without.

I'm going to check the data plate and compare weight on the front axle. When I change tires, I think I will check how it turns with no weight. make sure there are no problems. My 109 has a winch too.

thanks for the help

Oddly, I find that the steering on my 275 is harder to steer than the 108. I know both boxes are decent, I'm figuring that the shortness of the tractor might have something to do with it. Then again, the 108 still has school bus tires on the steer. I'm finding that the extra 9000# of the crane assy makes the 108 a well balanced truck.
