I've decided to restore my 66' M109 to its factory 24087 paint color and markings. I was wondering if any of you had photos of a M109's rear end with their original 1960s paint and markings? The shot I'm referring to is in the attached figure from TB746-93-1.

Thanks!

Found one. Looks like the truck to the left doesn't have a white star painted in the middle. Also, it appears there's a third 109 to the far left draped with two M35 canvas covers.

Gotta love the pinups pasted on the inside of the rear doors on J3344.

Edited to add: Maybe the rear white stars were painted on the right doors only? Or not at all? The mystery deepens...

Well, I never did find a picture of where the rear 20" star was placed, this is what I finally decided to do. I tried to place it center width wise and between the door handle and the drip edge height wise. I did offset the star a tiny fraction of an inch to keep that lower-left point star point fully on the right door.
