m1101 flat tire help

Today I recovered a M1101 from Ft. Campbell. One of the tires was low on air, which was no problem since I had an air tank in the truck. The other tire indicated 0 air pressure. When I attempted to add air, nothing happened; no air going in the tire. So I decided the valve stem core was bad and replaced it. The tire still won't accept air in. What gives? Is there something unusual about the run flats that could cause this?

I finally installed a spare tire/wheel that was part of my recovery kit in order to get home. Wow, those things are too heavy for an old man to be lifting.

No. The problem wasn't that the tire wouldn't hold air. It wouldn't let air enter. I pressed the air chuck to the valve and nothing would go in, not even after replacing the valve stem core. I know the chuck is good on my air tank because I used it to air up the other tire.
