M1101 Trailer check

what should I look for on a new M1101 trailer. Other than rust what else should I check on it to make sure its road worthy? Tires look new. the safety lever for the surge brakes is out and back over the fluid cap

You wont see much rust, as they are aluminum. Download the TM, do the PMCS on it, that will cover everything to make sure it is roadworthy. Bearings are the biggest deadline item to any small trailer.
