M1151A1 A/C Wiring Harness Replacement?

My M1151A1 front to aft a/c wiring harness was cut in several places during the GP demil process. I thought it was easier to purchase a new harness rather than rewire it myself. It has been a lot easier until trying to feed the harness through the right front firewall. I have come to the conclusion that the a/c evaporator and heater must be completely removed to gain access to the firewall grommet. Has anyone completed this harness replacement that would have any advice or input? I will be posting a detailed writeup when completed.
