I need one, too!
The original (and A3) versions need one to keep your feet from falling through the foot basket. They don’t have expanded metal on the bottom, and used the storage for the hand crank as the basket bottom.
A hand crank is one of the last few items needed to complete the restoration of my A3. Hoping someone has one they don’t need!
