M342 sighting in VA

I was going to dinner tonight and thought I saw a 5ton dump truck....so I had my buddy turn around to check it out. It was a M342 PERFECTLY restored! Even underneath was painted!

I thought about waiting around to see if the owner would trade it to me for a couple deuces!

Actually, it's a M35A2 with a civi dump bed. The owner lives in Ft Valley.

It looks good, but the real deal has a deck you can walk on-on the outside of dump box.

The shape of the bed is an easy tell tale sign it's not a 342. There was a topic on here recently w/ pics. They have a really neat looking bed.

Still a very nice truck. Looks like the parking lot at the new Mal-Wart in Front Royal. I guess the collector car/truck guys are using the lot as a drive-in already!
