Will the starter turn the engine over and it never catches or will the starter not turn?

There are two starter relays on the engine. One is on the starter and the other is just above the starter on the side of the engine block under the exhaust manifold. Mine did the same thing and it was the relay on the side of the engine block. I replaced it and it did the same thing again. I finally bypassed it and just rely on the one on the starter. Never had another problem.
You can test them with a volt meter. Get it hot and shut it down and check for voltage coming out of the relay on the block when someone pushes the starter button. Make sure to take all your rings and jewlery off before you do it. If you arc 24 volts over a metal ring on your finger its going to leave a mark.
