M35 master cylinder swap?

Looking at the pics of the M35 master cylinder, it looks exactly identical to my M211 one. Does anybody know if they use the same unit. I am trying to find a decently priced rebuild kit for my M211's master cylinder. If anyone has one to part with or knows where I can get a fair price I would appreciate it. Also, if someone can get the part number off the M35 unit I could confirm whether they are the same unit or not. Thanks.

It has been too long since I did this - but from memory the GMC MC has a check valve that the Reo lacks - when the two are swapped you get one brake application - then the system is in hydrolock - with potentially disasterous results. I may have this backwards, but as you can gather the two can be interchanged - but only AFTER modification.

Hope this helps,

Deuceman51,
I installed a new MC in my truck a few weeks ago. NOS part still in plastic bag. Tag reads 2530-00-753-9267.
Cage/Prime 19207 PN 12368254.
Perfect fit and works great!!
