M353 Recoverey

Thought I'd post a few "before" pics of the M353 generator trailer I finally recovered from Poppop. We pulled it back from south Georgia with my son's 4X4 Ranger - no problems. I'll clean it up this summer and paint it OD. Then I plan to build sides and add a tailgate.

I was excited to be able to use it already helping AMGeneral move the tires for his 10 ton trucks. We put about 3500 lbs on the trailer and it didn't sag a bit.

It came with 1100X20's but I traded with AMGeneral and put 900's on it. That way all my trailers will run the same tires.

They are great trailers, but you are limiting your capacity going to 900s.

I got one of these, they are stout. Gonna make a BBQ trailer with mine.

Good point Gimpy. I don't anticipate even approaching the rated GVW of 10000+ lbs. However, Brandon is close enough, I'll swipe a couple 1100's if the need arises.
