M35A series custom aluminum body fabrication?

A friend of mine came across an M35A() project on the internet that I fell in love with, but all I have is two pictures and no source, no reference to where it came from or who is working on the project. If you know whose it is or where I can look, that would be greatly appreciated. It appears to be aluminum that they are fabricating to replace the body and create a custom RV/Van rear.

Its sheet steel, not aluminium.

Right, I realized it was sheet metal when I read up on the building...I wonder if using aluminum would be feasible and how much weight it would cut down on...?
