Dear Fellow members,

I have just rebuilt my air pac using a rebuild kit I purchased from tnj murray. I believe i put everything back together right except for some of the internals in the slave cylinder. I took it apart too fast and let it sit for a few days...I know big mistake. Was hoping some of you guys could help me get it straight. I have attached a diagram of how I installed it, please let me know if it is right or wrong. Thanks.

James,

I just wanted to thank you for the above posted link. That is exactly what I did, I followed the manual with the mistake in it and had the two seals reversed. If you had not sent the link with the correction in it I would have been in trouble.

One more question you might know the answer to. I am assuming the trailer brake output line on the booster could be capped if one wanted to do so? I am re doing the lines on a 4x4 duece project and will not be using trailer brakes. Can I just cap the line from the booster with a 3/8 npt plug. Thanks again.

Talking about the air line to the rear gladhands for trailer brakes? Capping it should be fine.

Not a problem. Yes it can be capped off. You could also elect to change over the brake light sending unit from the end of the booster to that air port if you wanted. There is a thread about it here on the forum.
I think the link I posted use to be in the sticky at the top of the deuce form?
If it was IT NEEDS TO BE THERE and if not IT NEEDS TO BE THERE.
