I have a 1971 M35a2 with an engine rebuild date of 1989--The mains are .010 over--37000 miles--It has a c- turbo and runs fine--There is blow by coming out of the hose hanging down the passengers side of the engine and out of the oil fill hole when the cap is removed--How much blow by is normal--I can see it lightly puffing out all the time--There is also oil running down the turbo onto the top of the blow by hose--Does the turbo oil line leak around that area--Thanks George

The blow-by from the crankcase breather tube or "road draft tube", you describe sounds normal.
There should be no leak from the oil supply tube on top of the turbo.

Its alot of trucks--I figure all the 2 1/2 and 5 tons wiil be out of the system by march 2010 and things will be getting very expensive from gl up to that time--I am seeing it now in the north east--selection is poor and the prices 50% more then last summer
