m35a2 fuel return line question

I have relocated my fuel tank to the bed of my truck. Will this be a problem with the fuel return line. Can the tank be higher than where the fuel return line comes out of the engine compartment. Is the return line under enough pressure to push the fuel up into the tank. Thanks.
