Thanks for all the info, now i gotta find some free time to go back amd work on it. Im gomma take the check valve apart and check it since its dumpn all the air thru the drag link sensor then i will tackle the,sensor

Ok got another question, on the drag link sensor, what do the two allen set screws do on each end of the sensor(after i take the tie rod ends off) ?

In talking with some of the folks that have the air assist installed, it seems it is most use-full at low speeds. While driving down the road, it makes it hard to keep straight. I think when mine gets installed, it will have a switch like the front axle switch to turn it on/off.
The air assist kit makes the truck wander on the highway?

I have a AOM kit that I want to install, and would plumb it like you suggest if it would help. My truck already wanders enough on the highway, I don't want to do anything else to it to make it worse.

You need to add some caster to your front end.

Has anyone been working on these wander and leaking issues ? I just got this truck and put some krill oil in my air in port and it got better . Air leaks out pretty good if not holding perfect straight . And it wants to wander side to side on road also like the air is doing it or fighting it

I'm assuming you meant to say Kroil oil and not krill oil? No one should put krill oil in the pneumatic system. Most people I know with air assisted steering put jack oil in the pneumatic system and work the steering back and forth. It usually works.

Yes kroil . Was typo . Lol I will try to add some Jack oil but think this truck sat up and something inside has stuck allowing to much air to leak by .

I would turn the air off completely to the air assist. Drive it and see if it still pulls, it may just be a tire, brake, tierod etc issue. If it doesnt pull you may have to rebuild the draglink, a oring may be cracked allowing air pressure to bleed by

I read where there is some
Sort of pins preventing disassembly of this ? Do they have to be drilled out ?

You will have to drill out the other side (currently undrilled) to be able to drive the pins out to allow rebuild. Once disassembled inspect and make sure no unusual gouges or nothing is broken. At this point either the Orings will be broke, or using a oring pick remove the orings and you will see a flat side allowing air to escape. Be sure to use the white lithium grease when reassembling

I have a M35A3 that has is having a problem leaking air from the component between the pitman arm and steering knuckle. Air leaks out the exhaust ports and the compressor has a hard time keeping up. The air was turned off to the steering assist when I received the truck and I can now see why. I beleive this component is just worn out. Does anyone know where there might be a good used one or a way to fix the existing one? Thanks, Jeff
I have a couple drag links. Try marvel mystery oil in the supply port and keep working the wheel left and right to cycle the valve

That is a very good idea and easy to do. There is a valve on the firewall that will let you cut off the air. If it still pulls, something else is wrong. The leaking air could be a separate issue from the pulling. As far as adding oil to the input, I jacked up the entire front of my A3 until both front wheels were off the ground. I added oil and then turned the wheel both directions until full lock, many times, added more oil and repeated until my problem cleared up. That was around 10 years ago. I've not had any problems since. The worst thing for these trucks is to not drive them. I drive mine often and virtually have no problems - very reliable truck.
