Hi all,
i have a May 1951 M38 and I’m looking to get it marked up correctly.
I know so far that my jeep came into the UK in the usual olive Drap and then was painted blue and so I assume it went over to USAF - I would also assume that the base would have been both US military and USAF on one location.
I have read that from May 1951 they moved from 7 now to 8.
I have attached a photo of what I can see on the under side of the bonnet.
im not sure of how to find out?
Please can anyone help.
kindest regards
Matt

I'm assuming you mean US Army and US Air Force, since the USAF is part of the US military? No. The US Army and USAF did not automatically associate. It will depend on the installation.

What in the world are you trying to say here?
