I recently purchased a 1958 M52, Got the thing running like a top but stopping is the issue now. I have a very stiff brake pedal and can stop, but not very well. It feels like my foot on the brake is the only thing that is putting PSI on the system. I just replaced the airpack today, and still the same issue. It seems like the air side of the airpack doesn't work? I own 3 M35s and when I release the brakes on them I can hear the air release but on the M52, I hear no air. It was also noticed that I have no brake lights when using the pedal, but when I apply the trailer brake I do have brake lights. I read the TM and cant seem to locate my issue in the troubleshooting section. Any help is greatly appreciated.

None of the wheels lock up when you fully apply the brakes?
Here’s my advice, if you haven’t already done so; make sure you’ve got sufficient air pressure to the hydrovac / booster.
Then bleed the master cylinder, then bleed the hydrovac. I would also Jack up each wheel & pull the axle and check the brake minor & major adjustment.
