I've been wanting a M36A2 (Long Bed deuce) to use among other things as a car/truck hauler.

Well not much luck finding these, especially with a winch.

How long is the M54's bed?
are there any 5 tons with a 16 foot or longer bed?

The m54 bed is 14' long. The M814 is the long bed version of the 809 series and it is about 20' long if I am not mistaken. You can look in the TACOM manual and it tells the dimensions of the trucks.

Shhh were not supposed to talk about auctions

Thanks for the pic of the 814 & info on your site.

Bob thinking about a 5 ton?!!!! Cool.
You saw what i had at the trail ride.
If your going to pull any weight the 5's are the way to go.
the M35 does'nt have the snort to pull what i had behind it.
my M819 would have pulled the whole works M35 and all and done a better job.
