M543A2 recovery mission Stage 1 complete

Well,We got the M543A2 pulled from Northern Florida to Columbus where it is bringing down Papabears property values as we speak.Got down there pretty good other than the Curse of Murphy was with us.Just a delayed reaction this time.....maybe that means it is getting weak?!?!?!Papabear started out shifting near perfectly but farther and father we drove with wrecker in teh sleeper he started having issues grabbing gears....But we got down there pretty good no major issues.Got everything loaded up and ready to roll out.Well,Wrecker managed to get us lost.....Was going north,Saw the welcome to bama sign......he said here is out cut off....took it and then noticed Florida highway signs gain....Uhhh.....stopped and broke a cardinal man law.Asked directions.....yea,Wrecker was sending us to the Gulf coast instead of back north.Well,Other than that we made it all the way without any more issues except the 36,000lb issue on the trailer.....

Usually people get lost on the way TO somewhere, not the way BACK, LOL!! Besides, our Gulf beaches here are beautiful, ya shoulda taken Wrecker's detour though you might have had some problems with the lowboy in beach access parking lots...

Glad you made it back in one piece, was door strapped on the back of the trailer still there when you got home? Did you stop in at the RV place with the MVs?
