M720 Dolly Set

Just purchased a M720 dolly set, NSN 4940-00-209-6239. I have done some research and there appears to be two different models with one being the HD model. The regular M720 model is rated at 6000 pounds whereas the HD model is rated at 8000 pounds. Does anyone know how to differentiate the two models? Has anyone tried to put 8000 pounds on one of these trailers? I have an expando van that is estimated at 8000 pounds and was wondering if the M720 will work. Any thoughts.
